Investment in clean industry has accelerated. MPP’s Global Project Tracker shows that the pace of clean industrial projects securing finance doubled over a six month period, compared with the previous year. Momentum is building. Ambition has become implementation ‐ the question is now speed, scale and leadership.
Build Clean Now is a global mobilisation campaign created to raise the profile of clean industry globally, highlight its benefits, identify opportunities and examples of best practice, and accelerate project investment.
We are on the brink of a clean industry revolution. The projects are ready; the economic benefits are both clear and within reach. What we need now is bold, coordinated action. Governments, companies, and finance can unlock the investment that will turn plans into progress the world over. The moment is here – let’s build clean now.

Build Clean Now Delivers
WORKING DIRECTLY WITH CLEAN INDUSTRY PROJECTS national workshops with project developers, energy companies, offtakers, finance providers and governments surface what is holding investment back and help us design ways to unlock bottlenecks with co-ordinated groups of stakeholders. Ongoing work concentrates on supporting clean industrial projects toward FID.
ADVANCING SOLUTIONS analysing lessons across country workshops and country programmes helps us identify the interventions with the greatest potential to unlock growth; for example, a new ‘Clean Deal Monitor’ following the Australia Build Clean Now workshop provides greater transparency into the clean project pipeline, sources of momentum and persistent barriers.
SHARING BRIGHT SPOTS to inspire the next wave of clean industry projects.
GLOBAL ADVOCACY collective voice and action at the right platforms to drive and accelerate adoption and investment at scale.
OUR GOAL IS TO ACCELERATE CLEAN INDUSTRY INVESTMENT YEAR-ON-YEAR. Our initial target is to reach 50 financed clean industrial projects in the two-year period 2025-2026. We are currently tracking well and expect to set a new target before the end of 2026.
